The SMM iPage Leadership Program Now Accepting Applicants

The Science Museum of Minnesota is seeking applications for the next cohort of the iPAGE Leadership Program: Addressing Equity and Inclusion in Informal STEM Institutions (ISIs).

iPAGE brings together ISI professionals from across the United States and is dedicated to supporting diversity, promoting inclusion, increasing access, and achieving equity in the ISI sector. The program is designed to help leaders bring about meaningful and lasting institutional change

The program is transformative. As Erin Graham, Chief Operating Officer at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) put it:

"Throughout the course of the program, I have become a leader and champion for change related to equity work at my ISI. It’s no longer because of my position, but because people in the institution feel that I’m supporting them in ways they are advancing EDI (equity, diversity, inclusion) work, and I’m able to reinforce it as a lens in almost every discussion."

ISIs selected to participate in the 2018–2019 cohort will receive 11 days of intensive professional development focused around equity, inclusion, leadership, and organizational change for their teams of two to six people. Travel
expenses and program materials are provided. In addition, consulting services focused on leaders’ context-specific needs and challenges and mini-grants of up to $30,000 are available to support local diffusion and implementation
efforts.

Applications are due by Friday May 18, 2018. Click here [https://www.smm.org/ipage] to learn more or to apply.
