Recently Funded STEM-Related National Endowment for the Humanities Projects
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) funds projects each year that explore the connections between science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and the humanities. CAISE coordinated with NEH to make these project descriptions available here. The newly cataloged projects, funded through the Division of Public Programs, are multidisciplinary and address regional history or topics of interest. They use learning environments e.g. film and exhibits to explore where ecology, history, art, industry and other sectors intersect. Projects are organized below by the year funded. To view all of the NEH projects in the CAISE repository, use Advanced Search, choose “Funding Source” & select “NEH”. The Digital Projects for the Public program may also be of interest to the informal STEM learning community. Applications will be available in April 2021.
