NSF wants to know what was your STEM spark

The National Science Foundation (NSF) seeks to energize the STEM community around the importance of STEM education and is asking its partners, stakeholders, and anyone who has a passion in STEM to share a moment that sparked their curiosity about or interest in science, technology, engineering, or math.

Starting on November 26, stories can be shared on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #MySTEMspark, via video or text. If you don’t have a personal account on these social media platforms, email your video or text with a picture to tellus@nsf.gov, and NSF will share it on their channels.

Don’t wait too long!

NSF concludes the #MySTEMspark campaign on December 7. For professionals in the informal STEM education field, you might also share the spark that inspired you to become a STEM educator, researcher, or evaluator. Tag colleagues and friends in your posts to encourage them to share their #MySTEMspark story.
