NSF Director Dr. France Cordova Speaks At Broader Impacts Infrastructure Summit
In April, CAISE participated in the Broader Impacts Infrastructure Summit convened by the University of Missouri and the Broader Impacts Infrastructure Network. Dr. France Cordova, recently appointed Director of the National Science Foundation (NSF), spoke for the first time publicly in the plenary session, along with American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) President Dr. Alan Leshner. A video of their talks and the subsequent Q&A session is now available. During the Q&A, Dr. Cordova recounted how a formative experience with informal science education influenced her own trajectory as a scientist. You can also see slides from Dr. Cordova’s presentation on the NSF website.
