NSF Advancing Informal Stem Learning (AISL) Program Funded Research Wins Award
The paper, Going Deep: Supporting Collaborative Exploration of Evolution in Natural History Museums, a product of the NSF AISL project Life on Earth, was chosen as the Best Design Paper at the 10th International Conference on Computer Supported Collaborative Learning this past June in Madison, Wisconsin. The authors provide an analysis of pairs of children interacting with a multi-touch tabletop exhibit designed to help museum visitors learn about evolution and the tree of life. To learn more about the project, the project team, and to access the paper, visit the Life On Earth project page on informalscience.org.
