Call for research participation: DEAI in Science and Technology Centers Study
A graduate student and the University of California Santa Barbara is conducting their dissertation which investigates the current and idealized diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion (DEAI) practices of science and technology centers. This study will help the ASTC community better understand what DEAI practices are being implemented, what works, and common challenges the field faces. They are recruiting museum leaders (CEOs, Directors of Education, and DEAI Coordinators or people in similar positions) to participate in a one-hour interview about how they view DEAI, what their institution is doing to address DEAI concerns, and what challenges they are encountering. Participants will receive a $50 gift card for their participation in this study. If you are interested, please fill out this form, which includes contact information.
