Task Forces
In 2017, CAISE convened task forces to address three challenges: (1) supporting and sustaining generative connections between practice and research, (2) building understanding of and capacity for evaluation and measurement, and (3) broadening participation of underrepresented groups in STEM and informal STEM education.
CAISE provided forums and spaces for the informal STEM education and science communication communities to come together to address these common challenges. By organizing mutual sharing and learning opportunities, CAISE strengthened existing connections between professionals and fostered the growth of knowledge in these fields.
